Health is hard and confusing. Mainly because it's misunderstood. Culture leads you to believe that "getting healthy" is solely physical, leaving you to look elsewhere for the other areas.
Here at HOLO HLTH, we help you become truly healthy — a pursuit of health anchored in Jesus. Since 2018, we've helped hundreds of Jesus followers align their behaviors with God's design of health, improving physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally & spiritually.
Becoming truly healthy has 3 steps:
Step #1 – The Correct Understanding of God
Becoming truly healthy does not start with health. Or you. It starts with God. Why? Because everything downstream flows from your view of God. If you have a false view of God, this will impact your pursuit of health.
We help people understand that their pursuit of health is not about them, but about Him. That it's a means to an end ... not to look better (which is a positive bonus) but to love better.
Step #2 – The Correct Understanding of You
Truly healthy people do not get healthy for their identity, but from their identity. There is a big difference. Many people place health as part of their identity. Instead, we help people live out their God-given identity first, and pursue health as an expression of a solid identity in Christ.
Step #3 – The Correct Understanding of Health
What is health? Like, really? What's the it you want? Because if you cannot define it, you will struggle pursuing it. We rise and fall on the level of our definitions. This is why we walk you through over 18 common misunderstandings of health (that are holding you back) and help craft a new definition of health ... true health.
We help you redefine your definition with the 9 Correct Understandings of Health:
- Health is holistic (physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, spiritually)
- Health is a stewardship (1 Corinthians 6)
- Health is freedom (increased ability to do what God is calling you to do)
- Health is an alignment with God's design (body, mind, soul)
- Health is a means to an end (to love others better)
- Health is a spectrum (ranging from season to season)
- Health is a tension to manage (not a problem to solve)
- Health is sustainable (something you maintain in every season)
- Health is your holistic pursuit towards Jesus (Jesus is the perfection of health)
How? The 7 Habits of Health
These seven are the foundational behaviors of true health. This is what truly healthy people do daily & weekly:

Habit #1: Abide Daily — being with Jesus all throughout your day
- Baseline practice: spend intentional time with Him every day
Habit #2: Sleep Well – consistently getting sufficient, quality sleep
- Baseline practice: sleep 7+ hours every night
Habit #3: Eat Clean – prioritizing nutrient dense foods 80+% of the time
- Baseline practice: eat 1 clean meal every day
Habit #4: Move Often – prioritizing physically active behaviors over sedentary ones
- Baseline practice: get 8,000+ steps every day
Habit #5: Increase Clarity – increasing self-awareness to replace lies with truth
- Baseline practice: read 1 piece of Scripture every day
Habit #6: Decrease Stress – minimizing unnecessary stress done to you by you
- Baseline practice: spend 1 hour disconnected every day
Habit #7: Cultivate Community – experiencing deep, authentic connection with others
- Baseline practice: perform 1 relationally-enhancing behavior every day
Our aim is for everyone to develop their True Health Plan, a personal, practical plan for how you will incorporate each habit into your life. You will walk away understanding A) what true health is, and B) how to actually do it.

With 12+ years in the health field, my personal mission is to help people become healthy in every area of their life.
With a Bachelors in Exercise Science and a Masters in Christian Leadership (MACL, EP-C, CF-L1 & CF-L2), I have spent many hours researching health in different sectors to help you finally become truly healthy. I've written 3 books about true health & own a brick-and-morter gym in Georgia as well.
In addition to creating content for HOLO HLTH, I get the privilege to be the husband to Hannah and the father of Andi, Crew & Emma.

Hey, I'm Trevor.
Co-Owner of HOLO HLTH.
For nearly all my life, I thought how I looked or felt about my body determined my health. Over the last several years, the Lord showed me that health is so much bigger and better than what culture leads us to believe. One of my callings is to help others experience the truly healthy life Jesus offers in John 10:10. And that's why I am here at HOLO HLTH.
During my 8 years in the industry, I have acquired my Bachelors in Sport Management, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate, Working Against Gravity Nutrition Certification, and have helped hundreds of people pursue greater levels of health.
Outside of HOLO HLTH, I am lucky to be married to my wife Erin, enjoy moving often, and am a sucker for a good cup of coffee.
